Meet the Trainer
Kristin Angel is all about dogs. She started training because she was frustrated with her first dog barking on leash. She understands how frustrating finding answers can be and tries to keep training simple and fun for her clients. She works to help train your dogs and in her free time she works with her own dogs. She believes we can never stop learning and continues to keep up to date on latest and greatest dog training ideas with seminars and conferences.

Private Lessons
We in person one-on-one lessons local, to us Illinois. We can cover common problem behaviors, teach manners, and start your dog on the path to become a well behaved dog.
Board and Trains
Are you busy and need help getting your dog’s training kickstarted? A board and train might be right for you to help you meet your goals. You dog will stay with us and get training and fun experiences.
Day Trains
Let us do a lot of the training for you, while you still get to see your dog in the evening. You dog will spend the day with us learning skills and you can pick up your dog to cuddle at night.

At Angelic Paws Dog Training, we believe in a science-based approach based on your dog’s needs.
Just like people, dogs have different levels of sociability and learn differently. We take your dog’s personality into account and combine that with a science-based approach of positive reinforcement, rewards, and fostering kind and caring connections that resonate with your pet. A better relationship with your pet will have a lasting impact on your life.
We use food rewards to help teach your dog what is good behavior in human society. We do not use the following equipment in our training; ecollar/shock collars, choke chains, or prong collars. We are still happy to work with you if you have used them in the past but we will teach you different ways to handle and work with your dog.
Your dog will be with you for many years, and both of you need to have a relationship based on mutual respect. We focus on teaching you both how to respect boundaries, overcome problems, and reach your goals.
