We believe positive outcomes come from positive reinforcement dog training

Dog training for dogs of any age. Whether you have a new puppy at home that needs a little help with manners or have a dog with problem behaviors you’d like to improve, we can help!  Training will focus on just the right balance of positive reinforcement and kind and gentle redirection that makes training a great experience for you both.

At Angelic Paws Dog Training, we believe in a science-based approach based on your dog’s needs.

Just like people, dogs have different levels of sociability and learn differently. We take your dog’s personality into account and combine that with a science-based approach of positive reinforcement, rewards, and fostering kind and caring connections that resonate with your pet. A better relationship with your pet will have a lasting impact on your life.

We use food rewards to help teach your dog what is good behavior in human society. We do not use the following equipment in our training; ecollar/shock collars, choke chains, or prong collars. We are still happy to work with you if you have used them in the past but we will teach you different ways to handle and work with your dog.

Your dog will be with you for many years, and both of you need to have a relationship based on mutual respect. We focus on teaching you both how to respect boundaries, overcome problems, and reach your goals.

[I set up four training sessions with her and I have nothing but positive feedback. Kristin was responsive and very easy to work with in setting up my four appointments. She clearly cares very much about dogs and making sure they are not only well cared for but also trained in a positive manner. She is incredibly knowledgeable and keeps up with all of the latest research and she had well thought out answers to every single question I asked] – Kyle K.

Kristin has been a valuable source of training advice, tips, and information for myself and my puppy. Her kind approach has been very effective, and has also helped me to better communicate with my pup. I highly recommend to anyone! – Jorden D.

Kristin is an incredible trainer. She trained us how to use positive reinforcement as a way to teach our puppy basic skills, as well as more complex skills. The way she taught us allowed us to work progressively until the next session where we would learn even more skills. Our puppy was able to pick up on skills and manners incredibly fast with her methods, as well as exercise his mind and build confidence. We highly recommend her!! – Taylor C.
